Now Welcoming Non-profits, Schools, School Districts, and Housing Authorities

Non-profit organizations, schools, school districts, and housing authorities proposing projects within ComEd’s service territory (please see map and list of counties above) may now apply with a letter of support from their township, county, park district, conservation district, forest preserve district, or municipality-including municipal entities such as their water reclamation district. View the Eligibility section of the FAQ for the letter of support criteria and a sample letter of support.

Past grantees are eligible to reapply only if they have fully completed their grant requirements, including but not limited to submitting their final grant report. Eligible applicants must be in good standing with ComEd related to the provision of utilities.

Grants of up to $10,000 can be requested to support open space projects that focus on planning, acquisition, and improvements to local parks, natural areas, and recreation resources.
